Karate Association of India President Baikunth Singh recently visited Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, at his residence in Delhi. He was accompanied by Srinivas, the national joint secretary and Telangana State president, along with Sai Kumar, the State treasurer. During their visit, they invited the minister to be the chief guest at an upcoming Karate Association of India tournament. This event is scheduled to take place from August 16 to 18 at the Olympic Bhavan in Panchkula, Haryana. The tournament will feature teams from all over the country, making it a significant national event in the karate community.
Hyderabad: Senior BJP leader and Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Saturday dismissed reports of talks between BRS and BJP for friendship. BRS is an outdated party, the Union Minister of State for Home said in an informal interaction with mediapersons here. There has been speculation about BRS engaging with the BJP against the backdrop of arrest of BRS MLC K Kavitha in a case related to the alleged irregularities in the scrapped Delhi excise policy and the regional party drawing a blank in the Lok Sabha polls. BRS lost power in Telangana in the Legislative Assembly elections held last year. Meanwhile, BRS Working President K T Rama Rao has recently warned that action would be taken as per law against those spreading false information of “merger’ of BRS. Sanjay Kumar said the contest in the coming local body elections in Telangana would be mainly between ruling Congress and BJP. Alleging that the state government is not providing funds to the panchayats, he claimed that the rural local bodies are functioning with central funds. On AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi’s opposition to the Waqf (amendment) bill, he asked as to how many Waqf lands MIM has safeguarded and how many poor Muslims have been distributed waqf lands. Referring to allegations of encroachments of waqf lands at some places, he said the facts would come out if the waqf (amendment) bill is passed. Replying to a query, Sanjay Kumar said the BJP’s central leadership would decide on the issue of appointing a new president for the state unit of BJP There has been speculation that a new president might be appointed as incumbent G Kishan Reddy is a Union Minister looking after important portfolios like coal and mines. He also claimed that the Congress government in Telangana has become unpopular in a short time after coming to power in December last year. Sanjay Kumar claimed he is confident about CM Revanth Reddy taking action against BRS Working President K T Rama Rao over the latter’s alleged irregularities during the previous BRS regime. He also said the BJP would fight against both the ruling Congress and the BRS in the state. Later, he attended an event of ‘LokManthan Bhagyanagar-2024’, a forum of nationalist thinkers. Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], September 12 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)’s Telangana unit president Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Friday said BJP will conduct a movement against the Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) party and in 2023 BJP will become the ruling party.Kumar who is also a Member of Parliament told ANI, “People are already forgetting KCR and he will not get recognition in politics. Just to remind everyone that he is alive he will be conducting press conferences sometimes. The public doubts his existence. We will conduct movements until the TRS party comes down and in 2023 Bharatiya Janata party will be the ruling party. BJP will not restrict media rights.” KCR or KTR were never behind the bars but Bharatiya Janata Party leaders bare everything for the sake of the public, he added.“He conducted fake movements. He became chief minister by false publicity. We will put an end to your lies and we will construct a mausoleum to your worst politics in the coming days and BJP is ready to face it,” said Kumar.“Although MIM announced that the steering wheel of the car (TRS Party Logo) was in their hands, KCR did not react to it. KCR wants to live as a slave at the hands of MIM. He is doing injustice to the people of Telangana. We proved what can Bharatiya Janata Party do even though you try to stop us. He alleged that Rahul Gandhi refrained from speaking about the incident in Bangladesh on China’s orders. Bandi Sanjay criticized the Nehru family, accusing them of conspiring to obscure the sacrifices of the nation’s great leaders for political gain. He also claimed that the contributions of Dr B R Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution, were being deliberately sidelined. In connection with the ongoing ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, Bandi Sanjay emphasized the importance of commemorating the sacrifices made by the nation’s heroes to secure independence for all.A grand ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Yatra was launched on Monday from Telangana Chowk in Karimnagar under the aegis of the Bharatiya Yuva Morcha (BJYM). Bandi Sanjay participated in the march, walking from Telangana Chowk to Tower Circle alongside a large gathering of youths and students who carried the tricolour flag in honour of the martyrs.
